With Pittsford up 11-7 at the top of the fourth quarter but starting with 5:08 left in the game, Penfield scored four unanswered goals to tie the game at 11-11 with 2:11 left. With 2:04 left in overtime, senior attackman Sam Cummings scored the game-winner with an assist from Jake Fox. Cummings ended the game with 4g and senior midfielder Chris Smith added 3g-2a. John Richiusa gave the Patriots lots of ball time as he won 23/27 faceoffs. Pittsford senior attackman Harrison Cross led scoring with 2g-2a and junior James Cook added 3g for the Panthers (2-2) who will play R-H on Wednesday. Junior midfielder Nick Hauman returns after scoring 31g-20a as a freshman and has committed to play at Towson after graduation. According to Coach Mordaci, "He is a very strong two-way midfielder, a leader, and has a fantastic lacrosse IQ." Joining him in the midfielder is senior Tim Weisensel (10g-5a) who is very athletic and quick and junior Tyler Gould. |

Brockport was a 9-8 winner over Gates Chili, Greece was a 7-6 winner over Spencerport, Rush-Henrietta was a 6-5 winner over HF-L, Pittsford was an 11-10 winner over Irondequoit and Schroeder was an 8-7 winner over Penfield. Hilton beat Thomas 9-3. It was only the second time the Cadets (7-2) have won against the Titans. |

# 2835 Battle of Webster High Schools In the battle of the Webster High Schools, Thomas defeated Schroeder 6-4 after a consistent four quarters. Schroeder came out strong winning the first quarter 3-2. Thomas came back with two unanswered goals in the second quarter to take the 4-3 lead into halftime. The Titans never lost the lead after that. |
